Caitlyn is a master’s-level psychotherapist who received her degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to her clinical work, Caitlyn is a school counselor for Neshaminy School District.
Caitlyn has experience working with children, adolescents and young adults around a variety of issues, such as anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and life transitions. A few specific topics her work has focused on include academic performance, interpersonal relationships, self-esteem, mindset, and implementing mental health and wellness into daily life. Caitlyn places an individualized focus on each client, utilizing techniques that are specific and effective from a variety of approaches, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy.
Caitlyn spent two years as a research coordinator at University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education. Caitlyn dedicated her time providing academically relevant research and school-based mental health interventions to public school systems in the Greater Philadelphia area.
Through her therapeutic approach, Caitlyn emphasizes the importance of understanding the influence of past experiences, acquiring acceptance strategies for life’s transitions, improving balance in daily living, and challenging undesirable thoughts/beliefs.
